Scratch my previous post. It is on Dicks Picks 29 but is not on either days set list. Come to think of it, thats probably why it is not listed-it was from another show. You'd probably have to contact someone associated with Dicks Picks at the Dead site to find out what show it came from, unless someone knows on this site. If you know someone with the DP29, I believe you'll find it on disc 2 where there are only 4 songs listed.

I'm a fan of 2/18/71 as is it the first performance of the song, stuck in the middle of a tasty Dark Star sandwich. Great Jam out of WR into the second verse of DS which appeared on 'So Many Roads' as 'Beautiful Jam.' You will find better versions of WR but you've got to have this one in your collection.

I just wanted to point out that this was the first performance of Wharf Rat (among other songs) so it's worth hearing for that as well.

The hidden tracks on DP29 are from 10.11.77 and are on disc 2, tracks 5, 6 & 7 - Not Fade Away > Wharf Rat > Around & Around and disc 5, tracks 6 & 7 - Dancin In the Street > Dire Wolf and the Wharf Rat is superb.

Hey paint-picker! - I put a post up today looking for other hidden songs on Dick's Picks. Do you know of any others besides DP 13 and DP 29? Thanks a lot, - AshesRising
